Rhiannon Hull Tribute for sportsillustrated.com

Sports Illustrated has just published a significant feature about my dear friend’s inspirational life, and heroic death. And as fantastic and amazing as this is, it still sucks. I believe the word ‘bittersweet‘ was created with this very situation in mind.
Please pick up the March 12 issue, grab a box of Kleenex, find a quiet place, and read this gripping, tragic story. Sure, you can read it online… but it’s long. Very long. And let’s be real, it’s just not the same.
In the meantime, here’s a “vide-ulogy” I created in her honor. Thanks to SI’s superstar writers Jon Wertheim and David Epstein for allowing me, and encouraging me, to create this. And thanks to Justin Whitaker (videographer) and Zack Patterson (motion graphics artist) for helping me realize my vision. I hope you like it and, more importantly, share it with your family and friends. The only thing that softens the blow of her loss, is the hope that her life story becomes an inspiration to others.
